This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +29 more states.
• Respond to both emergency and non-emergency calls, adhering to established protocols to assess priorities and dispatch appropriate responses.
• Deliver empathetic customer service using both scripted and unscripted communication methods.
• Supervise a high volume of medical alerts and alarms.
• Accurately log call details, dispatch actions, and messages into a database in real-time.
• Communicate with compassion, respect, and patience.
• Verify and update customer information within the system.
• Troubleshoot alarm systems and report issues to ensure timely maintenance.
• Inquire about and suggest preventative healthcare services.
• Manage access to sensitive materials while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Engage in conversation and typing simultaneously while navigating multiple screens and systems.
• Complete new hire training and successfully pass all required compliance assessments.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• 0–1 year of customer service experience, ideally in a contact center or healthcare environment.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain composure and empathy in high-pressure situations.
• Self-driven with the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient typing skills (minimum of 35 WPM).
• Familiarity with customer service software and CRM systems is preferred.
• Ability to efficiently switch between multiple screens and systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to work weekends, overtime, and flexible hours as required.
• Minimum internet speeds of 50Mbps download and 25Mbps upload are necessary.
• Ability to sit and work on a computer with a headset for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting up to 10 pounds and reaching/bending to retrieve items from cabinets and shelves.
• Ability to speak, hear, and see for the duration of the workday.
• Engage in repetitive keystroke/data entry tasks throughout the workday.
• Minimal ambulation required.
• Ability to handle a high volume of calls, exceeding 100 calls per day.
• Must reside in one of the eligible states listed in the job posting.
