This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +29 more states.
• Respond to both emergency and non-emergency calls, adhering to established protocols to assess priorities and dispatch appropriate responses.
• Deliver empathetic customer support utilizing both scripted and unscripted responses.
• Oversee a substantial volume of medical alerts and alarms.
• Accurately log call details, dispatches, and messages into a database in real-time.
• Communicate with empathy, respect, and patience to foster a positive experience for members.
• Validate and update customer information within the system.
• Troubleshoot alarm systems and report any issues for prompt maintenance.
• Ask about and suggest preventative healthcare services to members.
• Manage access to sensitive materials, ensuring strict confidentiality.
• Engage in simultaneous talking and typing while navigating multiple screens and systems.
• Complete new hire training and successfully pass required compliance assessments.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• 0–1 year of customer service experience, ideally in a contact center or healthcare environment.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to remain calm and empathetic in high-pressure circumstances.
• Self-driven with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient typing skills at a minimum of 35 words per minute.
• Familiarity with customer service software and CRM systems is preferred.
• Ability to efficiently navigate multiple screens and systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Availability to work weekends, overtime, and flexible hours as required.
• Minimum internet speeds of 50 Mbps download and 25 Mbps upload are necessary.
• Capability to sit and work at a computer with a headset for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and reach/bend to retrieve items from cabinets and shelves.
• Must be able to speak, hear, and see for the duration of the assigned workday.
• Engage in repetitive keystroke/data entry tasks throughout the assigned workday.
• Minimal ambulation is required.
• Ability to handle a high volume of calls, exceeding 100 calls per day.
• Must reside in one of the eligible states listed in the posting.
