Care Center Representative, 2nd Shift

📋 Description

• Respond to incoming emergency and non-emergency calls, adhering to protocols to assess priorities and dispatch responses accordingly.

• Deliver empathetic customer support through both scripted and unscripted interactions.

• Monitor a significant volume of medical alerts and alarms.

• Accurately document call details, dispatches, and messages in real time into a database.

• Communicate with empathy, respect, and patience to guarantee a positive experience for members.

• Verify and update customer information within the system.

• Troubleshoot alarm systems and report issues for prompt maintenance.

• Inquire about and suggest preventative healthcare services to members.

• Manage access to highly sensitive materials while maintaining strict confidentiality.

• Engage in simultaneous talking and typing while navigating multiple screens and systems.

• Complete new hire training and fulfill required compliance testing.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED is required.

• 0–1 year of experience in customer service, ideally in a contact center or healthcare environment.

• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to maintain calmness and empathy in high-pressure scenarios.

• Self-motivated with the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Proficient typing skills (minimum of 35 WPM).

• Knowledge of customer service software and CRM systems is preferred.

• Capability to efficiently toggle between various screens and systems.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Availability to work on weekends, overtime, and flexible hours as needed.

• Minimum internet speeds of 50 Mbps download and 25 Mbps upload are required.

• Must successfully complete new hire training and pass all mandated compliance testing.

• Residency in one of the specified eligible states is necessary.
