This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Lead customized account experiences for major accounts and healthcare providers.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients.
• Establish meaningful connections with customers and identify common priorities.
• Facilitate solutions that connect clients to Novartis resources to enhance patient outcomes.
• Balance demand generation with strategic engagement of accounts.
• Navigate and address account challenges with tailored solutions.
• Develop strategic territory plans that align with shared priorities.
• Drive product demand and support positive patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues.
• Leverage knowledge of markets, competitive landscapes, and cross-functional dynamics.
• Utilize territory data and market trends to reveal local insights.
• Support pull-through initiatives and lead customer interactions virtually or in person.
• Organize planning sessions with stakeholders to address complex challenges.
• Provide real-time access support and work collaboratively with Patient Specialty Services.
• Employ digital tools and omni-channel strategies for both virtual and face-to-face outreach to customers.
• Travel across the assigned geography 60–80% of the time by driving and/or flying.
• Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university is mandatory.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, B2B, or similarly complex sales environments.
• Demonstrated history of consistent high performance.
• Experience in selling to large accounts and key clients.
• Strong analytical skills to prioritize and utilize relevant information to resolve customer issues.
• Ethical leadership capabilities and the ability to promote ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Must live within the territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 50 miles from the territory border.
• Ability to travel 60–80% across a broad geographical area.
• Capability to drive and/or fly within the territory.
• Must possess a fully valid and unrestricted driver's license.
• Associate level: Recently separated from the US Military with 4+ years of military service in a leadership role, or limited prior sales experience.
• Territory Account Specialist: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant sales role of similar complexity within the last 5 years.
• Senior Territory Account Specialist: At least 5 years of experience in a relevant sales role of similar complexity within the last 5 years.
• Executive Territory Account Specialist: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant sales role of similar complexity within the last 5 years.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally within a matrixed environment.
• Effective communication of clinical product information.
• Customer-facing employees must adhere to customers’ credentialing guidelines, which may necessitate vaccination.
• Must successfully complete initial training.
