This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert clinical assistance, education, and training to physicians, nurses, and hospital personnel on da Vinci cardiac surgery devices and treatments.

• Provide on-site case support in operating rooms or hybrid ORs during robotic cardiac procedures.

• Assist with product setup, troubleshooting, optimal usage, and adherence to clinical and safety protocols during live procedures.

• Collaborate with the Cardiovascular Sales Manager and sales team to broaden the user base and establish surgeon training pathways.

• Facilitate the adoption of Multiport, Single Port, and digital solutions.

• Advocate for advanced instruments and accessories to improve surgical performance and enhance surgeon autonomy.

• Work alongside internal cross-functional teams to increase the use of da Vinci Surgical Systems and bolster healthcare-facility partnerships.

• Conduct training for physicians and care teams on robotic platform indications and correct usage.

• Administer customized onsite training for surgeons and care teams and organize mentoring initiatives.

• Assist new-site start-ups through onboarding programs and in-service training.

• Offer ongoing education and product updates.

• Design and implement personalized da Vinci pathways for surgeons and surgical teams.

• Provide after-hours and weekend support as required.

• Collaborate with sales, leadership, customer training, and business partners to carry out clinical plans.

• Share clinical insights to influence commercial strategy and drive business growth.

• Engage in physician education programs, workshops, and regional/national conferences.

• Promote the adoption of digital solutions.

• Partner with ancillary equipment manufacturers to develop programmatic success strategies.

• Gather and relay customer feedback to sales, marketing, and R&D teams.

• Stay updated on clinical literature, competitive products, and evolving treatment guidelines.

• Assist with clinical trial support as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Life Sciences, or a related field is required.

• Over 2 years of experience in cardiac surgery (CVOR) is necessary.

• Background as a Physician Assistant or First Assist is preferred.

• Industry experience is highly desirable.

• Advanced degrees or clinical credentials such as RN, PA, NP, or RT are preferred.

• Profound knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and interventional procedures.

• Familiarity with standard hospital policies.

• Exceptional communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Capability to perform in high-pressure OR/Cath lab environments.

• Flexibility to adapt to evolving technologies and complex procedures.

• Team-oriented with a commercial perspective.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% domestically.

• Candidates must reside or be willing to relocate near a major airport in the South Central region, such as Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio.

• May be required to present current proof of vaccination against specific diseases, including COVID-19.

• Some positions may be subject to U.S. export controls.
