Cardiovascular Program Specialist – Future Opportunity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Deliver specialized clinical support, education, and training to physicians, nurses, and hospital personnel regarding da Vinci cardiac surgery, devices, and therapies.

• Provide onsite assistance in operating rooms or hybrid ORs during robotic cardiac surgery procedures.

• Aid in product setup, troubleshooting, optimal usage, and adherence to clinical and safety protocols during live cases.

• Collaborate with the Cardiovascular Sales Manager to establish a training pipeline for new surgeons and broaden the user base.

• Promote the adoption of Multiport, Single Port, digital solutions, advanced instruments, and accessories.

• Work alongside internal teams to enhance the use of the da Vinci Surgical System and strengthen partnerships with healthcare facilities.

• Conduct training for physicians and care teams on robotic-platform indications and appropriate usage.

• Provide tailored onsite training, mentoring programs, onboarding sessions, and in-services for new site launches.

• Offer continual education, product updates, and recurring training for care teams to ensure proficient and independent system utilization.

• Deliver after-hours and weekend support as necessary based on territory adoption.

• Collaborate with sales, leadership, customer training, and business partners to implement clinical strategies.

• Provide clinical insights to influence commercial strategies and drive business expansion.

• Engage in physician education programs, workshops, and regional/national conferences.

• Facilitate the adoption of digital solutions by enhancing customer infrastructure and capabilities.

• Partner with manufacturers of ancillary equipment to develop strategies for programmatic success.

• Gather and relay customer feedback to sales, marketing, and R&D teams.

• Monitor clinical literature, competitive offerings, and changing treatment guidelines.

• Assist with clinical trial support as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside or be willing to relocate near a major airport in the South Central region, such as Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac-related clinical role; preference for cardiac surgery, electrophysiology, or interventional cardiology.

• Experience as a physician assistant or surgical nurse combined with medical device industry experience is highly preferred.

• A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in nursing, life sciences, business, or a related discipline.

• Advanced clinical credentials such as RN, PA, NP, RT, or other relevant clinical certifications are preferred.

• Comprehensive understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and interventional procedures.

• Familiarity with standard hospital policies.

• Exceptional communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Capability to perform in high-pressure environments such as the OR/Cath Lab.

• Flexibility to adapt to evolving technologies and complex procedures.

• Team-oriented with a commercial perspective.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% domestically.

• May be subject to vaccination requirements, including current proof of vaccination against specific diseases.
