This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Make a significant impact on patient care by utilizing scientific knowledge.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients within the designated territory.
• Collaborate with Account Executives, leaders of Integrated Delivery Systems, and colleagues in the field.
• Build and nurture relationships with cardiologists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Interact with physicians’ offices, integrated delivery systems, pharmacies, and hospital clinics.
• Create and implement a business plan for the territory that aligns with company policies, standards, and ethical guidelines.
• Stay updated on product knowledge and maintain certifications relevant to the company’s portfolio.
• Conduct balanced and compliant sales discussions regarding products with healthcare providers and business professionals.
• Match customer needs with company offerings based on product labeling.
• Provide management with insights on customer requirements, market dynamics, and progress towards quality objectives.
• Keep informed about headquarters-approved information related to products, diseases, and the marketplace.
• Track business performance against targets using company tools.
• Travel within the Allentown, PA area, with around 25% overnight travel potentially necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS), or a high school diploma or equivalent with 0–3 years of relevant work experience at S1 level.
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS), or a high school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of sales experience, or a high school diploma with at least 6 years of relevant experience at S2 level.
• Relevant experience may encompass professional sales, marketing, military service, or roles in healthcare/science such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or medical devices.
• Capability to analyze complex data and formulate strategic sales plans.
• Proficient in utilizing digital tools and platforms to connect with healthcare professionals.
• Flexibility and adaptability to evolving market conditions and customer needs.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong skills in building customer relationships and assessing needs.
• Must reside in the territory or within 25 miles of the workload center for designated metro areas, or within 75 miles for non-metro territories; otherwise, willing to relocate at personal cost.
• A background in sales, account management, consultative roles, or customer service is preferred.
• Experience in analyzing metrics to assess progress towards objectives is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience is preferred.
• Cardiovascular sales experience with established connections to cardiologists and endocrinologists is preferred.
• Experience in product launches and achieving success in competitive environments is preferred.
• Ability to simplify complex information and clearly convey technical details is preferred.
• Proficiency in advanced analytics to derive customer insights and enhance sales is preferred.
• Comfortable using multichannel tools and technology to broaden sales outreach is preferred.
