This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Achieve sales targets, operate independently, and act as the primary point of accountability for a successful launch within the designated territory.
• Create account plans tailored to the territory that identify, evaluate, and rank opportunities to fulfill customer requirements.
• Coordinate the activities of a local integrated field team, which includes medical, payer, and patient navigation/support professionals.
• Act as a subject matter expert and provide valuable resources to customers through clinically relevant information about diseases and products.
• Generate demand for the product launch.
• Share approved resources with healthcare professionals (HCPs), such as marketing materials, payer information, formulary coverage, patient support services, and educational programs.
• Build business relationships with key integrated delivery networks (IDNs), hospitals, cardiology clinics, and specialty pharmacies.
• Establish a resource presence within customer care environments.
• A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in biotech or pharmaceutical sales is required.
• Prior experience as a representative with exclusive responsibility for a territory is highly desirable.
• Experience in cardiology, rare diseases, or specialty products is preferred.
• Familiarity with specialty product launches is advantageous.
• Experience with patient service hubs and specialty pharmacy distribution is preferred.
• Knowledge of key opinion leaders (KOLs) and vital accounts within the assigned territory is preferred.
• Proficiency in analyzing territory market trends and strategic planning that drives results and surpasses sales goals is required.
• Experience in selling to complex accounts, identifying key stakeholders, and addressing patient needs is essential.
• Clinical insight with a strong commitment to understanding and advocating for the needs of customers and their patients is required.
• Compliance with credentialing requirements for access to academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations within the assigned territory is required.
• Willingness and ability to travel overnight 25% to 75%, depending on business needs and geographical considerations, is required.
• Ability to present a satisfactory driving record and possess a valid driver's license to operate a company vehicle is necessary.
