This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Takes charge of meeting sales targets by executing marketing and sales strategies designed to effectively promote and sell the NN product portfolio to healthcare professionals (HCPs) and other office personnel through remote and virtual channels.

• Develops and sustains relationships with physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, pharmacists, nurses, and various paramedical professionals.

• Maintains detailed records of calls, including discussed products, key issues and concerns addressed, sales aids used, samples provided, and other pertinent information to enhance the effectiveness of future sales interactions.

• Schedules follow-up calls with clients based on call continuum strategies and customer engagement plans.

• Manages customer follow-up on inbound leads and is responsible for generating leads and referrals.

• Applies knowledge of the territory market, including current market conditions, competitive trends, priorities, and patient needs, to create and execute effective territory business plans.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or a PharmD is required.

• Previous experience in retail, non-retail/inside sales, or customer service is preferred.

• Intermediate computer skills are necessary (Windows, Word, Excel).

• Prior experience with sales data and call reporting software is ideal.

• Must be a self-motivated individual capable of working independently while exercising sound business judgment and discretion.

• Exceptional customer service skills are required.

• Strong oral communication skills are essential.

• A solid understanding of diabetes and obesity disease states, along with knowledge of Novo Nordisk’s products, is required, as well as the ability to learn and convey technical and scientific information related to products and disease management.

• Capacity to build rapport, establish relationships, and close sales effectively.
