This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the daily operations of the cardiac remote monitoring program for designated cardiology clinic clients of CRMS by DocGo.
• Assess daily alerts and data transmissions for patients participating in remote monitoring platforms.
• Record, analyze, prioritize, and communicate with patients, team leaders, clinical personnel, and physicians to ensure coordinated care.
• Conduct monitoring of Implantable Loop Recorders and provide education to patients regarding remote monitoring.
• Assume a leadership role in the daily activities of the Cardiac Monitoring Center.
• Review remote monitoring software on a daily basis for transmission data and alerts.
• Identify alerts that require urgent attention and inform clinical staff accordingly.
• Conduct remote device interrogations and/or follow-up procedures.
• Document patient remote monitoring data in the database.
• Record findings and communication contacts in accordance with Clinic Management protocols.
• Coordinate device monitoring programs including Merlin.net, CareLink, Biotronik, and Latitude.
• Upload and evaluate daily CIED reports per established protocols.
• Stay informed about advancements in device technology.
• Act as a resource for physicians and clinical staff in the management of remote devices.
• Contribute to company oversight and information security tasks in compliance with Remote Employee HIPAA Guidelines.
• Address issues that are appropriate to the role.
• Significant experience in reviewing transmissions from CIEDs (Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices), including Pacemakers, Cardiac Defibrillators, and Implantable Loop Recorders.
• Preferred certification by the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE), such as CCDS, CDRMS, or IBHRE Testamur; obtaining IBHRE certification is required within one year of hiring.
• Certification as a Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) is mandatory before the commencement of employment for applicants lacking current IBHRE certification.
• In-depth knowledge of cardiac devices and proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Capability to produce device transmission reports that encompass all relevant information.
• Experience in analyzing remote device transmissions from Abbott, Boston Scientific, Biotronik, and Medtronic.
• Strong skills in patient education.
• Ability to work autonomously and exhibit self-motivation.
