This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of sales technology solutions aimed at distributing equity derivatives and structured products.
• Design and take responsibility for a scalable order management system (OMS) for equity derivatives, encompassing the entire order lifecycle.
• Create and establish integrations with SIMON, Luma, Evooq, OTCX, Halo, and CAIS.
• Promote the use of digital distribution channels and self-service tools.
• Administer Bloomberg structured note contribution workflows and manage secondary-market price publishing through BSYM/BBGID.
• Develop and maintain SQL schemas and MongoDB models for trading data, product catalogs, client interactions, and reporting.
• Assess, integrate, and oversee partnerships with third-party technology vendors.
• Work in conjunction with compliance, legal, and risk teams to fulfill regulatory requirements, including MiFID II.
• Establish and uphold coding, architectural, and best-practice standards throughout sales technology.
• Guide junior engineers and business analysts.
• Track performance, manage incident responses, and ensure the dependability of production systems.
• Significant experience in software engineering, ideally within capital markets or financial services sectors.
• Strong practical expertise in Python and Java, capable of delivering full-stack solutions in both languages.
• Comprehensive knowledge of equity derivatives, including structured notes, autocallables, barrier options, and equity-linked products.
• Demonstrated experience with structured-product distribution platforms: SIMON, Luma, Evooq, OTCX, Halo, and/or CAIS.
• Proven background in managing Bloomberg structured-note contribution workflows, publishing secondary-market prices, utilizing BSYM/BBGID identifiers, and integrating with the Bloomberg Terminal.
• Experience in designing and utilizing RESTful APIs and working with FIX or other financial messaging protocols.
• Strong expertise in relational and document-oriented databases.
• Solid grasp of the trading lifecycle, order management, and structured-product workflows.
• Proven history of leading technical delivery in an Agile setting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with sales, trading, and senior stakeholders.
• Dedication to mentoring junior engineers and analysts.
• Pragmatic, results-focused approach, with the ability to take ownership of delivery in a high-pressure production environment.
• Capability to collaborate efficiently with compliance, legal, and risk teams.
• Structured and analytical thinker able to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Advanced/fluent English proficiency.
• Preferred: experience with AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, additional structured-product platforms, rates/credit/FX-linked products, CI/CD, DevOps, data engineering, ETL, FIX implementations in OMSs, and familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as Dodd-Frank and SEC Reg BI.
