Campus Ambassador

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assist students in understanding who is on their ballot in November through Change.vote.

• Advocate for Change.vote via student clubs, organizations, campus communications, tabling, and personal connections.

• Aim to reach as many fellow students as possible ahead of Election Day.

• Generate and recruit others to create user-generated content for Change.vote and its social media platforms.

• Establish connections with student clubs, organizations, and campus communication channels.

• Set up tables at busy campus locations and events.

• Engage in relational organizing by motivating students to involve their friends and networks.

• Monitor outreach efforts and results, providing feedback to Change.vote staff.

• Modify outreach strategies based on the effectiveness of approaches used on campus.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled at one of the specified campuses in California or Florida.

• Must be connected to their campus community or eager to become involved.

• Comfortable initiating conversations with strangers and fostering relationships.

• Capable of working independently and adjusting strategies without a strict script.

• Passionate about voter turnout and access to information, regardless of political affiliation.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the country where the position is based.

• Should be able to commit to approximately 55 hours over a two-month period.

• Experience in campus clubs or community organizations leadership may be included as an application question, but is not a mandatory requirement.
