Campaign Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Develop, oversee, and effectively secure funding for the campaign through partnerships with vision-donors.

• Ensure the completeness of the campaign case, which includes the budget and gift plan.

• Incorporate a planned giving objective and tailor presentation tools for targeted constituencies.

• Create and gain approval for the campaign budget, covering development, communication, and data management expenses.

• Supervise feasibility studies and establish the campaign's financial goals.

• Keep current donor strategies and subsequent actions updated in campaign software.

• Collaborate with primary callers, field staff, campaign directors, and various Young Life development organizations.

• Establish the campaign timeline and monthly objectives.

• Identify prospects and engage in donor solicitation meetings.

• Recruit, guide, train, supervise, support, sustain, and express gratitude to campaign committees and volunteers.

• Lead fundraising committees focused on major contributions of $50K and above.

• Organize donor events, communication strategies, recognition programs, and associated campaign materials.

• Execute the gift planning strategy in collaboration with the Director of Gift Planning and representatives from the National Christian Foundation.

• Provide updated databases, timelines, and prospect reports to the Chief Development Officer.

• Set up the campaign office and the systems that support campaign operations.

• Ensure adherence to fundraising policies, written pledge guidelines, development cost recovery protocols, and consultant engagement policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A BA degree is preferred.

• Availability to work full-time for the unspecified duration of the campaign is essential.

• Ability to effectively manage donor relations and ensure follow-through.

• Proven experience in environments that require proactivity and punctuality in meeting deadlines.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to maintain confidentiality.

• Proficiency in researching and preparing for speaking engagements and presentations.

• Effectiveness in working with major donors and securing significant contributions.

• Competence in accurately developing and managing a budget.

• Ability to collaborate as a team member with other Young Life staff and volunteers.

• A personal belief in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord is required.

• Must adhere to Young Life's Statement of Faith and necessary staff policies.

• Willingness and capability to fulfill ministry functions as needed.

• Must avoid conduct and statements that undermine Young Life's biblical standards.

• Compliance with Young Life policies and practices is mandatory.

• Signing a Statement of Faith is required.
