This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate the placement of CIEE international camp participants at summer camps across the U.S.
• Guide applicants and host camps through the processes of recruitment, onboarding, placement, pre-departure, and arrival.
• Oversee the onboarding, tracking, monitoring, and matching of camp counselor applicants to U.S. host camps based on their hiring requirements.
• Promote and onboard CIEE’s Camp Counselor program to potential camp hosts.
• Organize, schedule, and manage international in-person and virtual hiring events.
• Conduct prospecting and cold calling to gather camp hiring requirements and onboard new camps.
• Evaluate participant review notes and placement rates to spot trends and enhance placements.
• Build and maintain ongoing relationships with U.S. summer camps, including directors, HR representatives, and business owners.
• Provide consultation to hosts regarding hiring needs and the successful execution of the BridgeUSA program.
• Represent CIEE at regional and national trade shows as necessary.
• Travel domestically during the summer for camp site visits.
• Collaborate with Seasonal Exchanges teams to assist BridgeUSA participants from application through to program completion, including support for in-country camp hosts.
• Keep a precise and comprehensive sales database and team inbox.
• Travel internationally as required to achieve placement goals at in-person hiring events.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree (or its international equivalent) is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in camp staffing or as a camp director; experience in recruitment or sales (B2B and human capital solutions) is also relevant.
• Must reside within one hour's travel of a major international airport hub in the U.S.
• Some domestic and international travel is necessary; flexibility is required.
• Experience in international exchange programs is appreciated.
• International travel and/or work experience is encouraged.
• Proficiency in computer skills including MS Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Salesforce is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with various stakeholders.
