This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate the placement of CIEE international camp participants at summer camps across the U.S.
• Guide applicants and host camps through the processes of recruitment, onboarding, placement, pre-departure, and arrival.
• Onboard, monitor, and align camp counselor applicants with U.S. host camps based on hiring requirements.
• Promote CIEE's Camp Counselor program to potential camp hosts.
• Organize, schedule, and execute both international in-person and virtual hiring events.
• Conduct prospecting and cold calling to identify camp hiring requirements and onboard new camps.
• Analyze participant review notes and placement statistics to detect trends and enhance placements.
• Cultivate lasting relationships with U.S. summer camps, including directors, HR representatives, and business owners.
• Consult with hosts regarding hiring needs and the effective implementation of the BridgeUSA program.
• Represent CIEE at regional and national trade shows as required.
• Travel domestically during the summer for on-site camp visits.
• Collaborate with Seasonal Exchanges teams to support BridgeUSA participants from their application through to program completion.
• Provide in-country support to camp hosts.
• Maintain an accurate sales database and oversee the team inbox.
• Travel internationally as needed to achieve placement goals and objectives.
• Execute other assigned tasks as required.
• Bachelor's degree (or its international equivalent).
• At least 2 years of experience in camp staffing or as a camp director; experience in recruitment or sales (B2B and human capital solutions) is also relevant.
• Must reside within one hour's travel of a major international airport hub in the U.S.
• Some domestic and international travel is necessary; flexibility is expected.
• Experience in international exchange programs is recommended.
• International travel and/or work experience is encouraged.
• Proficient in computer applications including MS Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Salesforce is preferred.
• Capable of collaborating across teams and engaging with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and operate in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
