This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver telephonic professional nursing services in alignment with client-funded contracts.
• Initiate outbound calls to patients enrolled in a patient program.
• Handle incoming calls from patients, healthcare professionals, and consumers, serving as a professional resource for their inquiries.
• Address questions from patients, consumers, and healthcare professionals, recommending suitable resources.
• Refer individuals to additional training, support groups, program materials, or literature as needed.
• Encourage patients to consult their personal physicians for further information, directions, and care.
• Compile accurate, prompt, and clear data, completing summaries of follow-up calls, patient inquiries, and outcomes.
• Conduct patient education regarding the use of products.
• Engage in program-specific customer meetings and training sessions.
• Attend program-specific orientation meetings and demonstrate clinical competency through electronic/written assessments.
• Execute special projects and other responsibilities pertinent to specific contract performance.
• An associate degree and a valid professional nursing license are required.
• A Practical Nurse License (LPN) in good standing in the state of employment and/or cross-licensed in other states.
• Candidates for telephonic nursing roles must possess a Compact State License in eligible states; willingness to obtain a Compact State license when their state adopts Compact legislation is necessary.
• Candidates must have a California State License or be willing to obtain one post-hire, along with additional single-state licenses upon request.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience is required.
• Basic skills in database management and office navigation are essential.
• Ability to maintain a high level of customer interaction/service while communicating with patients, prescribers, and/or specialty pharmacies via phone.
• Capability to multitask in both PC/Phone-related activities while adhering to approved scripted materials.
• Proficiency in interpreting information shared by patients to determine the next steps as needed.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM CST and one late night per week from 10 AM to 7 PM CST.
