This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Deliver telephonic professional nursing services to support client-funded contracts.
• Initiate outbound calls to patients participating in patient programs.
• Handle inbound calls from patients, healthcare professionals, and consumers.
• Address inquiries and recommend suitable patient resources.
• Refer patients to additional training, support groups, program materials, or literature.
• Advise patients to consult their personal physicians for further information, guidance, and care.
• Compile accurate, timely, and clear data, including summaries of follow-up calls, patient inquiries, and outcomes.
• Conduct patient education related to product usage.
• Engage in program-specific customer meetings and training sessions.
• Attend program-specific orientation meetings and demonstrate clinical competency in electronic/written assessments.
• Undertake special projects and other tasks associated with contract performance.
• Associate degree and a valid professional nursing license are required.
• Practical Nurse License (LPN) in good standing in the state of employment and/or cross-licensed in other states.
• For telephonic nursing roles, a Compact State License is required in eligible states; candidates must be willing to obtain this license when their state adopts Compact legislation.
• Telephonic nursing roles necessitate a California State License; candidates are not required to possess this license at the time of hiring but must be willing to obtain one upon hire, along with additional single-state licenses if requested.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience is required.
• Proficient in basic database and office navigation skills.
• Capable of maintaining a high level of customer interaction/service skills while communicating with patients, prescribers, and/or specialty pharmacies via phone.
• Ability to multitask effectively in PC/Phone-related duties while adhering to approved scripts.
• Skillful in interpreting information shared by patients to determine appropriate next steps based on individual cases.
• Must be available to work Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM CST, with one late night per week from 10 AM to 7 PM CST at the employee's discretion.
