
Call Center Associate β Medicaid

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
β’ Address inquiries from Virginia Medicaid members and providers utilizing a computerized system, standard scripts, and established procedures.
β’ Collect information, evaluate caller needs, research and resolve inquiries, and document interactions.
β’ Provide details regarding eligibility, claim status, and provider enrollment information.
β’ Adhere to documented policies and procedures, including call handling and escalation protocols.
β’ Advocate for the needs of Medicaid recipients and providers.
β’ Achieve productivity, attendance, and performance objectives.
β’ Work collaboratively with team members to enhance customer satisfaction.
β’ Verify documents and images as required.
β’ Complete all mandatory training assignments.
β’ A high school diploma or GED is required.
β’ Background checks and/or drug screenings are necessary.
β’ Access to high-speed internet is essential.
β’ A dedicated workspace that is free from noise and distractions is required.
β’ Bilingual abilities; proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
β’ Prior experience in a call center or customer service environment is preferred.
β’ Previous exposure to Medicaid, Medicare, or health insurance is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with computer systems, including data entry and database documentation, is preferred.
β’ Knowledge of the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) is beneficial.
β’ Experience in managing inbound customer support calls is essential.
β’ Strong communication and customer service skills are required.
β’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced call center environment is necessary.
β’ Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate multiple systems are required.
β’ Consistent attendance and a strong work ethic are expected.
