Call Center Agent II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Answer and address incoming phone calls for customer assistance.

• Handle requests for outbound phone calls.

• Log all calls in tracking and ticketing systems.

• Address customer inquiries and supply information within specified time frames.

• Serve as a liaison between the claims department and service providers.

• Investigate customer claims in primary payer systems.

• Maintain the highest standard of customer service on every interaction.

• Execute additional duties as assigned or required.

• Deliver customer service to UST clients through inbound call center operations.

• Report directly to the Customer Service Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma is mandatory; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• 2–3+ years of pertinent professional experience in healthcare claims operations or a similar duration in a call center setting.

• Prior experience in healthcare call center or customer service roles.

• Capability to work independently with minimal oversight.

• Thorough knowledge of covered benefits, coding, reimbursement policies, and contractual agreements.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Keen attention to detail along with problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.

• Proficiency in Spanish, both spoken and written, is preferred.

• Candidates may need to undergo a pre-employment criminal background check.

• Ability to collaborate across various time zones.

• Capacity to sit and/or stand for extended periods while utilizing a computer and video technology.
