This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Revise and maintain CAD documentation related to office layouts and furniture configurations, poly-lined drawings, space data, and occupancy information.
• Update and sustain CAD drawings utilizing standard furniture blocks, custom palettes, and LISP shortcuts while complying with layer, file management, and space standards.
• Generate BOMA-compliant polylines for floor areas and internal space classifications.
• Upload and incorporate drawing data into CAFM systems.
• Update, maintain, and support the validation of CAD/CAFM space types, identification, and associated data.
• Assist with space-data quality assurance and take part in internal project review meetings.
• Manage multiple projects from various sources within established SLAs and time-sensitive queues.
• Create innovative customer solutions and potentially provide training to other associates in technical skills.
• Perform site walkthroughs to verify drawing accuracy and the integrity of space data.
• Document findings from walkthroughs, photograph discrepancies, and update CAD files as necessary.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, including working with palette toolbars, custom palettes, and LISP routines.
• Familiarity with client workplace standards as well as architectural and furniture plans.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Basic Excel skills, including pivot tables and effective data management techniques.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing project portfolios from various sources and prioritizing tasks within defined SLAs and time-sensitive queues.
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality results.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including relationship-building, collaboration, and conflict resolution.
• Ability to self-manage, make sound decisions, and provide excellent client service.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Preferred: Degree in Drafting, Design, Engineering, or Architecture.
• Preferred: 1–3 years of CAD/CAFM technical and project-related experience within a corporate real estate setting.
• Preferred: Experience with AutoCAD in integrated CAFM solutions and document control procedures.
• Preferred: Working knowledge of BOMA and OSCRE space categorization principles.
• Preferred: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Visio, as well as CAFM/IWMS systems such as Archibus or FMSystems.
• Preferred: Understanding of Facilities, Real Estate, and Asset Management practices.
• Preferred: Experience with construction drawings and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapt to changes, manage time effectively, and organize deliverables.
