This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Evaluate business operations and pinpoint enterprise-wide risks related to personnel, operations, acquisitions, inventory, property, and material management.
• Assist in the design and oversight of the comprehensive ERM and A 123 processes for audit-related tasks.
• Review Notices of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs) and collaborate with stakeholders on remediation strategies.
• Detect deficiencies in financial statements and conduct root-cause analysis to formulate detailed recommendations.
• Execute tests of business operations and system controls.
• Aid in the implementation of management solutions, which includes creating training programs.
• Conduct data mining, cleansing, analysis, and reconciliations.
• Support financial statement analysis efforts.
• Recognize current trends in information technology.
• Facilitate accounting, risk identification and management, audit functions, and compliance for fully auditable financial statement reporting for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
• A four (4) year degree in a relevant or appropriate technical field from an accredited institution.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a related area.
• Proficiency with Celonis.
• Familiarity with Oracle Federal Financial functionalities.
• Understanding of GAAP, GAGAS, OMB A 123, and FASAB standards.
• Knowledge of OMB A 123, Management's Responsibility for Enterprise Risk Management, and Internal Control frameworks.
• Awareness of FISCAM requirements.
• Insight into current trends in information technology.
• Familiarity with DLA policies, systems, and procedures regarding personnel, acquisition, inventory, property, and material management.
• Successful completion of a background investigation is required for U.S. employment offers.
