This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design and create innovative vehicles that comply with future regulatory standards and competitive customer requirements.

• Oversee vehicle architecture, packaging, initial systems concepts, and the engineering design of components.

• Address packaging and adaptation challenges as vehicles progress towards production.

• Lead a diverse cross-functional team to align requirements and deliver optimal solutions.

• Ensure the physical and functional integration of vehicle systems and components throughout the program planning phase, from concept to program approval.

• Convert strategic and functional objectives into technical specifications.

• Develop and evaluate alternative design concepts, integrate systems and components, and benchmark against competitive vehicles.

• Present design proposals to upper management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an MBA.

• Over 5 years of experience in vehicle engineering, including Body-in-White, Electrical, Interior Systems, Powertrain Adaptations, Engine Systems (Cooling, Fuel, Exhaust), or Chassis Systems.

• Proficiency in TeamCenter, NX CAD Software, and Vis Mockup.

• Ability to develop new corporate preproduction and manage production CAD data structures.

• Skill in positioning and manipulating models, cutting sections, and analyzing existing designs.

• Capability to create and assess alternative designs while integrating systems and components.

• Competence in creating specialized CAD sessions for both high-level and detailed management reviews.

• Strong communication skills to lead teams and coordinate issue resolution across all regions.

• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English for technical understanding and effective communication with international teams.
