CAD Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, adjust, and enhance precise 2D/3D CAD models, drawings, layouts, and design concepts in accordance with project specifications.

• Utilize D5 Render to convert CAD/3D models into photorealistic visual outputs, including still images, presentations, animations, panoramas, and various other visual formats.

• Create and provide comprehensive D5 Render training sessions.

• Instruct on workflows connecting CAD/modeling platforms with D5 Render, covering model preparation, LiveSync, file organization, material management, and design modifications.

• Exhibit optimal practices for achieving render quality, scene and asset optimization, lighting, materials, and rendering efficiency.

• Offer coaching, demonstrations, troubleshooting assistance, exercises, and constructive feedback.

• Generate professional visuals that effectively convey concepts, designs, layouts, products, spaces, and project ideas.

• Establish CAD/D5 workflows, templates, tutorials, and best practices while ensuring accuracy, consistency, file organization, and adherence to professional presentation standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in CAD, 3D modeling, architectural visualization, product design, engineering design, or a related discipline.

• Proven hands-on expertise with D5 Render.

• Capability to teach D5 Render to novice and/or intermediate users.

• Familiarity with real-time rendering, materials, lighting, cameras, assets, and scene development.

• Experience with one or more leading CAD/3D platforms such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, 3ds Max, Archicad, Blender, Cinema 4D, or Vectorworks is highly desirable.

• Strong aptitude for articulating technical concepts in a clear manner.

• Competence in conducting live screen-share training sessions.

• Ability to develop instructional materials.

• Flexibility to tailor teaching methods to accommodate varying skill levels.

• Experience collaborating across diverse industries or project types is preferred.
