Revit Structural Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Generate accurate engineering calculations, load path configurations, and construction drawings for both residential and commercial building initiatives.

• Conduct structural calculations for gravity loads, lateral forces, foundation systems, and retaining structures.

• Create designs for wood-frame assemblies, including shear walls, joists, and beams.

• Design reinforced concrete components such as foundations, slabs, and columns.

• Produce comprehensive structural plans, sections, and framing details utilizing AutoCAD and Revit.

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project leaders to ensure designs are practical for construction.

• Maintain adherence to building regulations, including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, and NDS.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

• 2 to 5+ years of structural design experience, demonstrating proficiency in wood and concrete.

• Expert knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis tools such as Enercalc, RISA, WoodWorks, or RAM.

• EIT certification preferred; SE/PE pathway is advantageous.

• Professional demeanor and adherence to ethical standards.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Self-motivated and proactive.

• Capable of multitasking and managing various priorities.

• Excellent analytical skills.

• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.

• Competent in identifying potential risks.

• Able to follow orders or specific instructions diligently.

• Dependable with a commitment to completing assigned tasks.

• Submission of an English voice note outlining relevant work experience, previous responsibilities, and interest in remote opportunities in the U.S.

• Portfolio or work samples in PDF format.

• Access to a personal computer with internet connectivity.

• Comfortable with using Hubstaff for time tracking.

• Must be eligible to work remotely from Mexico.
