This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Generate, issue, and revise Purchase Orders (POs) within NetSuite.

• Oversee master purchasing information, encompassing lead times, pricing, minimum order quantities (MOQs), order multiples, and statuses.

• Monitor outstanding POs and confirm vendor acknowledgments.

• Adjust delivery timelines and address discrepancies related to delayed orders, shortages, or invoice pricing issues.

• Keep an updated open PO tracker.

• Notify about changes in supplier availability or lead times.

• Raise alerts regarding potential material shortages that could affect production.

• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Manufacturing to synchronize purchasing with demand forecasts and inventory needs.

• Evaluate vendor performance, focusing on On-Time In-Full delivery metrics.

• Perform inventory analysis.

• Suggest process enhancements to improve purchasing efficiency.

• Serve as an operational link between suppliers and cross-functional teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in buying, purchasing, or supply chain planning.

• Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) or manufacturing is preferred.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a relevant analytical field is preferred.

• Proficient advanced skills in MS Excel are required.

• Prior hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP is highly preferred.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills are essential.

• Capable of independently managing complex open orders.
