Business/Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-level customer support within a production environment for Momentum Financials.

• Manage and resolve a queue of support tickets while effectively communicating statuses and obstacles via project tracking tools.

• Examine project documentation and conduct testing in non-production environments to ensure thorough resolutions for stakeholders.

• Organize meetings, workshops, and interviews with stakeholders to collect, validate, and review ticket-related issues.

• Work collaboratively with government personnel, developers, testers, and Momentum subject matter experts to confirm that requirements are well understood and implemented accurately.

• Assist in system configuration, testing, validation tasks, and execution support.

• Aid in the enhancement of Momentum and in tracking and resolving defects.

• Conduct impact analyses for proposed system modifications, releases, and patches.

• Utilize or create SQL queries for data extraction purposes.

• Diagnose Momentum production issues by assessing system behavior, analyzing data, and collaborating with technical teams to pinpoint root causes and suggest effective solutions.

• Ensure that deliverables adhere to project standards, governance processes, and documentation requirements.

• Provide updates on status, risks, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.

• Participate in continuous process improvement and identify opportunities to enhance Momentum functionality and reporting.

• Maintain Knowledge Articles for Tier 1 support.

• Leverage Artificial Intelligence to optimize processes, enhance communication, and reduce costs.

• Lead teams and engage actively with stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US citizen capable of passing a Tier 2 MBI background investigation upon hire.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience as an Analyst supporting Momentum Financials implementations or operations.

• At least 8 years of experience with the Momentum Financials front-end, ideally involving database interactions.

• Familiarity with federal financial processes such as General Ledger, Budgeting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and financial reporting.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team to resolve issues.

• Capable of efficiently managing multiple and changing priorities while adhering to deadlines.

• Willingness to work additional hours to meet critical deadlines.

• Experience in a governmental setting.

• Proficient in Agile, SAFe, or hybrid delivery methodologies.

• Understanding of accounting principles and federal financial regulations.
