Business Technology Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Work alongside business services teams to comprehend their needs and pinpoint technological solutions.

• Assess, implement, adopt, oversee, and modify operational and cross-functional technology solutions.

• Create Power Automate flows, Copilot Studio agents, Dataverse-backed applications, and M365 Copilot or Claude prompts and agents.

• Stay informed about emerging tools and technologies.

• Deliver training and coaching on new technologies and procedures.

• Identify AI and automation opportunities to enhance work quality and efficiency.

• Design and document experiments involving prompts, workflows, flows, and agents.

• Map workflows to eliminate manual efforts, redundancy, and delays.

• Maintain a reusable library of validated flows, agents, and templates.

• Design and support adoption initiatives, onboarding strategies, training sessions, communications, and post-implementation assistance.

• Monitor usage analytics to assess awareness and training requirements.

• Contribute to the featured technology program and participate in Innovation working group sessions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders on technology-enhanced workflows and role redesign.

• Promote continuous improvement and innovation across business services.

• Ensure solutions adhere to data security, retention, and AI governance standards.

• Work in conjunction with Information Technology, Information Security, Risk, Training, and Legal Technology Advisor teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5–7 years of relevant work experience.

• Experience in project or product management.

• Strong grasp of back-office and operational workflows across Accounting/Finance, HR, Marketing/BD, Practice Management, and IT.

• Proficient with Microsoft 365, including Copilot, Teams, and SharePoint.

• Proficient with Power Platform, including Power Automate and Copilot Studio.

• Working knowledge of data concepts and integrations.

• Strong understanding and experience with Claude for both individual and departmental applications.

• General automation literacy, including APIs, integrations, and basic scripting.

• Ability to determine when a problem requires a developer versus a citizen-development solution.

• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong intellectual curiosity and a mindset geared towards lifelong learning.

• Capability to work effectively in a virtual/hybrid team setting.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to present concepts in a business-friendly and user-friendly manner.

• Discretion when handling confidential data.

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is mandatory.

• Experience in professional services, a law firm business services role, or a similar operational environment is preferred.

• Certification or coursework in AI, process improvement, Change Management, or related technologies is preferred.

• Familiarity with emerging AI infrastructure, such as Model Context Protocol (MCP), is an advantage.
