Business Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Evaluate business requirements and configure enterprise software systems to facilitate comprehensive business processes.

• Create and execute integrations between enterprise systems utilizing APIs such as REST and SOAP to ensure secure data transfer.

• Develop functional specifications, process flow documentation, and technical configuration documentation for enterprise software implementations.

• Configure SAP enterprise systems to support supply chain planning, inventory management, and materials management.

• Develop, test, deploy, and assist with enterprise applications.

• Write program code and generate technical documentation.

• Resolve incidents in production systems.

• Travel domestically and internationally for project Go Live, support, and educational purposes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Two years of relevant experience.

• Capability to analyze business needs and configure enterprise software systems for end-to-end business processes.

• Proficiency in designing and implementing integrations between enterprise systems using APIs, including REST and SOAP.

• Skill in preparing functional specifications, process flow documentation, and technical configuration documents.

• Experience in configuring SAP enterprise systems for supply chain planning, inventory management, and materials management.

• Ability to develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise applications, which includes writing program code, creating technical documentation, and troubleshooting production system incidents.

• Must reside near a major airport.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
