Business Systems Analyst, Workday Prism Analytics & Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, configure, and provide support for Workday Accounting Center use cases.

• Establish accounting rules and mappings for high-volume operational transactions.

• Convert source business events into accounting journal entries.

• Assist with reconciliation, balancing, and audit requirements.

• Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams on new accounting needs.

• Diagnose issues related to Accounting Center processing and journal generation.

• Create and develop Prism data pipelines.

• Import data from both internal and external systems into Workday.

• Create datasets, derived datasets, joins, unions, and transformations.

• Oversee full and incremental data loads.

• Enhance Prism performance and data processing capabilities.

• Facilitate reporting, dashboards, and analytics utilizing Prism datasets.

• Coordinate with integration teams to import data from source systems.

• Provide support for Workday Studio, EIB, APIs, and integration frameworks.

• Ensure data quality, validation, reconciliation, and governance are upheld.

• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams on data architecture and data flows.

• Design and maintain financial reports and dashboards.

• Address Finance and Accounting reporting needs.

• Conduct data analysis and offer business insights.

• Verify data accuracy across upstream and downstream systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience with Workday Financials.

• More than 3 years of experience with Workday Accounting Center.

• At least 3 years of experience with Workday Prism Analytics.

• Proven experience in supporting General Ledger and financial accounting processes.

• Strong comprehension of accounting principles and financial data flows.

• Expertise in Workday Prism Analytics, Workday Accounting Center, and Workday Financials.

• Proficient in Workday Reporting and Dashboards.

• Skilled in data transformations and pipelines.

• Experience with Workday Studio and EIBs.

• Knowledge of integrations and APIs.

• Familiarity with data reconciliation and troubleshooting.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Experience in gathering requirements and translating them into actionable solutions.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
