This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Manage all facets of the Software Development Lifecycle for enterprise-level software solutions.
• Evaluate, analyze, and document the needs of business units, workflows, program functionalities, and technical business processes.
• Facilitate discussions around joint business/IT requirements and lead stakeholder review meetings.
• Deliver analytical system solutions for key stakeholders.
• Identify functional gaps in software and opportunities for enhancement.
• Collaborate with product owners to establish product backlogs utilizing Agile methodologies.
• Develop user stories complete with acceptance criteria.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert throughout project implementation from start to finish.
• Train and mentor BSA I team members.
• Engage in scrum activities including daily scrums, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint retrospectives, and reviews.
• Promote Agile practices and continuous service improvement.
• Design, create, and document process flows, technical requirements, specifications, diagrams, scenarios, mockups, and models.
• Provide Tier 2 application support and address internal tickets for enterprise-managed software solutions.
• Oversee and assist with software upgrades.
• Troubleshoot issues, aid in triage, assess risks, and act as an escalation point for incident management.
• Manage application customizations, dashboards, workflows, role-based access, and reporting support.
• Address business-line application requests and reported issues through investigation and ticket escalation.
• Keep application users updated on issue progress and resolutions in accordance with service-level agreements.
• Coordinate with third-party service providers and internal technical teams regarding software requirements and production issues.
• Maintain relationships with business lines, internal technical teams, and third-party service providers.
• Participate in on-call support for critical after-hours application issues or major outages.
• Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or Business Administration is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Information Technology, Engineering, Management, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial or health services, encompassing technical business analysis, product development, and process improvement is required.
• Experience in an Agile environment or Azure ecosystem (DevOps) is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Visio, MS Word, Excel, PDF, SharePoint, and similar tools.
• Must meet the background screening requirements stipulated by the Federal Credit Union Act.
• Availability for on-call support for critical after-hours application issues or major outages as needed.
