Business Systems Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as an intermediary between business stakeholders and technical teams

• Convert business requirements into technological and procedural solutions

• Evaluate business processes, systems, and requirements to uncover areas for improvement

• Collect, analyze, and document business and functional requirements

• Conduct data discovery, analysis, process mapping, impact assessments, and gap analyses

• Oversee requirements analysis for system enhancements and new solutions

• Collaborate with product managers and technical teams to establish priorities and assist in roadmap execution

• Create and manage Business Requirement Documents, process flows, gap analyses, and risk assessments

• Foster a shared understanding and ensure successful project delivery among stakeholders, product management, and development teams

• Advise on process automation, data optimization, and efficiency enhancements

• Generate and analyze reports to assess performance and detect trends

• Facilitate data-driven decision-making and ongoing improvement initiatives

• Assist in project management, including defining scope, tracking milestones, and communicating stakeholder progress

• Mentor and support entry-level analysts

• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory standards

• Perform additional related duties as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar technical or analytical position

• Comprehensive understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Experience in backlog management and prioritization

• More than 2 years of quality assurance experience, including planning, test design, and execution

• Capability to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams

• Strong skills in negotiation and influencing

• Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

• Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and complete tasks within established guidelines and best practices

• Experience as a Business Systems Analyst in data engineering or analytics-focused settings is an advantage

• Familiarity with healthcare industry concepts, including data types, sources, and transformation processes is a plus

• Proficiency with Databricks, Python, and data ingestion methods such as APIs, SFTPs, JSON, and flat files is a plus

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is a plus

• Prior experience facilitating or supporting quality assurance processes is advantageous
