Business Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collect, evaluate, and oversee business and system requirements.

• Draft user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and business rules.

• Contribute to the design and improvement of onboarding and account-opening processes, emphasizing risk analysis.

• Model business processes and conduct AS IS and TO BE mapping.

• Recognize areas for improvement, identify bottlenecks, and explore automation opportunities.

• Develop and sustain business workflows utilizing BPMN and the Camunda-based process pipeline.

• Collaborate with architects, developers, and technical leaders to specify solutions and integrations.

• Facilitate refinement sessions, ensure alignment between upstream and downstream processes, and drive development initiatives.

• Execute data queries and analysis in Oracle and MongoDB databases using SQL.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, refinement sessions, planning, and backlog prioritization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in gathering and managing requirements, including user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and business rules.

• Familiarity with process modeling using BPMN.

• Experience in AS IS and TO BE process mapping.

• Proficiency with process modeling tools, particularly Camunda.

• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.

• Experience with event-driven architecture and Kafka messaging.

• Ability to interpret payloads, define integration contracts, and assess technical specifications.

• Background in collaborating with technical teams, architects, and developers.

• Knowledge of SQL and querying Oracle and MongoDB databases.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Experience managing backlogs, refinement sessions, planning, and prioritizing demand.

• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.

• Capability to facilitate collaboration between business and technology teams, leading discussions and ensuring end-to-end alignment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a proactive approach.

• Experience in fraud prevention and account-opening processes is advantageous.

• Background in risk analysis projects related to onboarding journeys is a plus.

• Knowledge of Java development is a benefit.

• Experience with APIs, events, and asynchronous architectures is a plus.

• Familiarity with environments that involve multiple integrations and downstream processes is beneficial.

• Hands-on experience with the ability to orchestrate deliveries and track initiatives from start to finish is advantageous.
