Business System Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Program & Process Improvement Managers and relevant stakeholders to identify and articulate system feature requirements.

• Serve as the Business Product Owner within Agile delivery teams.

• Work alongside software engineering and delivery teams to establish what will be developed.

• Define, communicate, manage, and enhance business requirements along with the feature backlog.

• Organize iterations for functional, end-to-end delivery that aligns with program plans and objectives.

• Compose user stories with acceptance criteria.

• Prioritize backlog items during Agile Program Increment Planning sessions.

• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and development teams.

• Collaborate with program and process management, other Business Systems Owners, and stakeholders.

• Engage in program, project, and Agile planning meetings.

• Oversee product development, assess iteration progress, and validate solutions against strategic goals.

• Review and approve completed work, providing necessary sign-off.

• Develop testing criteria and work with end-users on feature testing.

• Address feedback and resolve findings from User Acceptance Testing and their root causes.

• Coordinate with release management to plan and execute product launches, including marketing, training, and pricing strategies.

• Monitor key metrics and feedback to evaluate performance and pinpoint areas for improvement.

• Analyze sales data, user engagement, customer satisfaction/retention, and user adoption metrics.

• Propel continuous product improvement by leveraging data and user insights.

• 3-5 years of experience as a business system manager or in a comparable role.

• Capability to link feature recommendations with strategy, business needs, market fit, and ROI.

• Technical proficiency and expertise in one or more significant business systems.

• In-depth understanding of one or more business channels within Global Automotive.

• Strategic thinking and adept problem-solving abilities.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Proficiency in stakeholder management and effective communication skills.

• Comprehension of the company’s overarching strategy.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with KPI metrics reporting and business system product management.

• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle and Agile methodology.

• Experience with Salesforce and cloud environments.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 3 years of experience in a similar or related role.

• Business Systems Analyst certifications such as IIBA, ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Product Owner/Product Manager Certification (POPM).

• Background in the automotive industry.

• Insight into warranty products and services.

• Knowledge of operations administration or sales administration business processes.
