Business System Analyst – Experienced

📋 Description

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Conduct gap and issue analyses to uncover business needs and opportunities for enhancement.

• Convert and clarify business requirements into precise technical specifications.

• Design, document, and uphold business and system processes.

• Identify and conceptualize opportunities for business and/or system improvements.

• Assist in creating business cases for strategic initiatives.

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee project deliverables.

• Manage small to mid-sized projects and/or associated tasks.

• Utilize knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and project lifecycle principles.

• Ensure that technology solutions align with company standards and user needs.

• Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams.

• Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and technical resources.

• Oversee requirements management throughout the project lifecycle.

• Provide mentorship and feedback to junior staff members.

• Collaborate across departments to support enterprise initiatives.

• Over 5 years of experience as a business analyst.

• Demonstrated experience in supporting large-scale, cross-functional systems.

• Advanced skills in eliciting requirements for business processes and system functionalities.

• Proficient in general analysis and gap analysis techniques.

• Experience in creating various types of business and/or process documentation.

• Skilled in identifying and designing improvements for business/system processes.

• Ability to coordinate and manage tasks and small projects effectively.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong skills in facilitation and stakeholder management.

• Expertise in organization and documentation.

• Knowledgeable about enterprise systems and strategic solution design.
