Business Services & Outsourcing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the accounts and financial reporting service line for a portfolio of audited clients.

• Ensure an efficient process from initiation to completion.

• Establish strong working relationships with clients and internal teams.

• Manage working capital effectively.

• Conduct technical reviews of FRS 102, FRS 101, and consolidated IFRS statutory accounts.

• Assist the BS&O team with technical inquiries, research complex topics, and develop solutions.

• Mentor and develop team members.

• Supervise Mid-Market value-added technical projects, including the transition from FRS 102 to IFRS.

• Contribute to the go-to-market strategy for Mid-Market enterprises.

• Expand the accounts and financial reporting services and client base.

• Help define the company's future and promote innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent.

• Experience in a senior position, providing financial reporting advisory services, preparing statutory accounts, or offering audit support to complex organizations.

• Strong skills in project and time management.

• Proven history of managing a diverse client portfolio while meeting tight deadlines.

• Demonstrated ability in business development, identifying opportunities, and converting them into successful engagements.

• Proficient in FRS 102 and IFRS reporting frameworks.

• Knowledgeable in technical areas such as accounting for long-term contracts, share-based payments, and group reconstructions.

• Capable of building strong client relationships and providing an exceptional client experience.

• Excellent project management and communication skills.

• Collaborative mindset with clients and the broader BS&O team.

• Eager for continuous improvement and driven by curiosity to find optimal solutions.
