Business Process Consultant

📋 Description

• Act as a recognized expert in process improvement methodologies.

• Offer strategic advice and consultation to business leaders and stakeholders.

• Direct cross-functional improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational performance, customer outcomes, quality, and efficiency.

• Examine organizational processes, performance metrics, operational data, and business challenges to pinpoint enterprise-level enhancement opportunities.

• Utilize structured problem-solving techniques to tackle complex business issues and achieve sustainable results.

• Conduct workshops, Kaizen events, value stream mapping sessions, and root cause analyses.

• Develop and implement innovative process solutions that balance operational, technical, regulatory, and business needs.

• Create future-state process architectures, governance models, performance frameworks, and continuous improvement roadmaps.

• Assess interdependencies across functions, systems, processes, and organizational structures.

• Set up and track key performance indicators, operational metrics, and measurement frameworks.

• Deliver data-driven recommendations, support for business cases, and insights tailored for executive audiences.

• Spearhead the adoption and maturation of continuous improvement practices throughout business units and functional areas.

• Advise project teams and stakeholders on the use of process improvement methodologies, tools, and best practices.

• Contribute to the establishment of organizational standards, methodologies, policies, and governance for process excellence and operational enhancement.

• Mentor and coach practitioners of process improvement and operational leaders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 8 years' experience in process improvement, operational excellence, business transformation, continuous improvement, consulting, or related fields.

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is mandatory.

• Proven experience in successfully applying DMAIC methodology to process improvement projects.

• Background in leading complex, cross-functional improvement initiatives within large-scale operational settings.

• Strong skills in analysis, problem-solving, facilitation, project management, and stakeholder management.

• Expertise in process mapping, customer journey mapping, value stream analysis, root cause analysis, performance measurement, and future-state process design.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, process mapping tools, statistical software, time study applications, and Power BI or other business intelligence tools.

• Preferred: substantial experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and operational excellence methodologies.

• Preferred: experience in directing readiness reviews and transformation workshops with senior stakeholders.

• Preferred: capability to link process improvement efforts to strategic business objectives, customer outcomes, and operational performance.

• Preferred: outstanding analytical, facilitation, communication, consulting, and presentation abilities.

• Preferred: experience in managing multiple initiatives and handling ambiguity effectively.

• Preferred: ability to influence senior leaders and facilitate organizational change without direct authority.
