Business Process Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Spearhead large-scale, cross-functional projects within the Encounter Business Operations department.

• Concentrate efforts on regulatory compliance, encounter quality, and enhancing operational processes.

• Manage communication and ensure initiatives are completed across various markets.

• Enhance operational performance in the encounter business by harmonizing policy, process, and technology.

• Offer policy guidance related to encounter initiatives while considering comprehensive processes.

• Assemble work teams, develop project plans, facilitate meetings, foster consensus, document recommendations, and supervise implementation.

• Examine data, workflows, policies, procedures, staff organization, and skills to identify viable solutions.

• Utilize project management tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Microsoft Project.

• Lead team members responsible for initiatives and assist in their development, completion, and communication.

• Support project leaders with facilitation, analysis, process mapping, brainstorming, and project management challenges.

• Compose and disseminate communications throughout the organization.

• Provide support aimed at enhancing business performance.

• Execute other assigned tasks while adhering to policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required.

• Master’s Degree in a related discipline is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare, insurance, or a related field is required.

• Proven experience and skills in training, presenting, and facilitating are necessary.

• Previous experience with encounter data and processes is strongly preferred.

• Data analytical skills and demonstrated proficiency in Excel are highly desirable.

• Experience in managed care and/or payer environments is highly preferred.

• Strong ability and comfort level in presenting and storytelling with data is preferred.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are highly preferred.

• Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Microsoft Project is required.
