Business Operations Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Maintain a thorough and comprehensive understanding of intricate transaction and data flows across enterprise platforms.

• Analyze, design, implement, and oversee system-based workflows and process solutions that support billing, pricing administration, tax administration, merchant configuration, customer entitlements, settlement processing, and financial reconciliation.

• Develop, implement, and monitor strong data controls to ensure maximum configuration accuracy across integrated platforms.

• Identify system gaps and logic discrepancies before they lead to customer or financial issues.

• Act as the subject matter expert for the complete operational system ecosystem.

• Convert operational and contractual requirements into technical specifications.

• Represent Operations during cross-functional solution design discussions.

• Investigate non-standard, high-pressure operational errors that involve multiple systems and data sources.

• Lead root cause analysis and coordinate cross-functional corrective action plans.

• Audit system configurations to ensure alignment with contractual obligations, pricing structures, and regulatory tax requirements.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to prioritize system enhancements and automated reconciliation tools.

• Establish and monitor KPIs for system enhancements, process automation, and risk mitigation.

• Drive change management initiatives that support the adoption of new system processes and workflow improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Technology, or a related field.

• 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience leading system implementations, technical business analysis, or financial systems initiatives in a corporate setting.

• Ability to thoroughly analyze complex system architectures, transactional data flows, and integrations.

• Proven experience managing "non-standard" or high-pressure situations, navigating ambiguous data environments, and conducting multi-system root cause analysis.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision (management by exception).

• Direct experience supporting enterprise billing systems, complex pricing administration, tax compliance platforms, or financial reconciliation architectures.

• Extensive experience collaborating across matrixed corporate structures involving Product, Engineering, Corporate Finance, Risk, and Operations.

• Proficiency in utilizing analytical and diagnostic tools to synthesize data from multiple sources for pattern recognition.

• Experience with Agentic Intelligence is preferred.
