Business Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sri Lanka.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily operations, workflows, internal procedures, and documentation.

• Create company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and internal guidelines.

• Recognize operational inefficiencies and introduce effective solutions.

• Facilitate cross-functional initiatives and ensure alignment of teams with business goals.

• Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness.

• Manage essential business information and deliver timely insights to the Executive team.

• Foster relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Identify opportunities for scalability and efficiency with clients.

• Implement best practices and assist in long-term strategic planning.

• Act as the primary point of contact for the client regarding emails, phone communications, and professional interactions.

• Optimize information flow and provide pertinent updates and data.

• Prepare meeting agendas, presentations, and reports as needed.

• Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, and other operational teams.

• Work closely with an assigned Executive while receiving guidance from an Operations Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional proficiency in English, showcasing excellent reading, writing, and speaking skills.

• Minimum of 3 years in a communication-intensive role at a well-regarded firm.

• Strong interpersonal and organizational capabilities.

• Undergraduate degree preferred, though not mandatory.

• Relevant work experience may be accepted as a substitute for the preferred degree.

• MBA, CFA, CIM, CIPM, or CIMA certifications viewed as advantageous.

• Capability to work a split shift that overlaps with the client’s time zone.

• Willingness to participate in in-person training programs during the initial 3.5 weeks.

• Ability to work inclusively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
