Business Operations Manager, Finance & Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Lead analytical initiatives that enhance the understanding of the business

• Adjust the ARR definition in line with the evolving business model

• Assess the vitality of the sales and marketing funnel

• Discover correlations between product initiatives and customer expansion or churn

• Take ownership of a traditional finance area such as Accounting or Tax

• Conduct operational tasks and oversee external specialists

• Assess the overall health of the finance operations

• Streamline workflows to minimize manual operational and compliance efforts

• Spearhead cross-functional projects focused on resolving operational challenges

• Set authoritative definitions for critical business metrics

• Analyze factors influencing changes in business data

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience, ideally in a high-growth startup environment

• Strong quantitative undergraduate degree

• Located in the US, Canada, or UK

• Proficiency in systems thinking and process automation

• Skills in quantitative analysis, including financial modeling, intermediate statistical analysis, vendor methodology assessment, and data transformation

• SQL experience is highly preferred

• Capability to leverage AI for efficiency improvements while recognizing its limitations

• Quick learning ability in accounting or other specialized domains

• Skills in vendor management

• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

• Familiarity with accounting principles or coursework is advantageous

• MBA is a plus
