This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Assume responsibility for ad hoc operational priorities and projects as they emerge.
• Collaborate with People, IT, Finance, Security, and Operations teams to address employee and business requirements.
• Manage high-visibility, high-impact technical projects across various teams.
• Facilitate documentation, evidence gathering, process enhancements, and cross-functional follow-up pertaining to compliance and business operations.
• Create project plans, define milestones, assign owners, establish dependencies, set timelines, and determine success criteria.
• Foster stakeholder accountability and ensure deliverables remain on schedule.
• Proactively identify risks, blockers, and dependencies, resolving them early.
• Guarantee that projects are executed with quality, meticulousness, and a sense of urgency.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in business operations, project management, program management, strategy, management consulting, or a similar field.
• Outstanding project management abilities with a proven track record of independently guiding complex, cross-functional projects to completion.
• Strong organizational capabilities paired with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to articulate ideas clearly to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, focused on practical solutions and execution.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Familiarity with GRC, SOC 2, compliance, risk management, or security operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Experience in a startup, high-growth technology, fintech, or crypto environment is a plus.
• Security+ and PMP certifications are favorable but not required.
• Experience with GRC platforms, SOC 2 audits, security controls, or compliance programs is an advantage.
• This position cannot be performed in California or Colorado.
