Business Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +25 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and manage three to five concurrent cross-functional programs that have established end goals, published statuses, designated dependency owners, and target completion dates.

• Propel programs to successful completion across Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, Partner Operations, Solutions, and Go-to-Market teams.

• Exercise judgment to escalate any stalled dependencies.

• Identify and streamline operational workflows that span multiple teams and systems.

• Assess current-state costs and design as well as implement consolidated or automated solutions.

• Generate analytical insights to support program decisions utilizing Lob's data and reporting tools along with available AI technologies.

• Document finalized programs and transition them to permanent owners with lasting metrics.

• Prepare and present program reviews and status updates for leadership, including actionable recommendations and supporting rationale.

• Provide backup support for FP&A, Deal Desk, and Business Operations analytics deliverables.

• Assist in company-wide operational rhythms such as QBRs and leadership offsites.

• Strong ability to scope ambiguous tasks, sequence dependencies, and hold stakeholders accountable to deadlines across various organizations.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to present effectively to a leadership team and maintain a firm position.

• Analytical fluency to arrive at a defensible number independently.

• Familiarity with BI/data warehouse tools and AI-assisted analytical methods.

• SQL knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory.

• A sense of curiosity and initiative.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and incomplete information.

• 4–7+ years of post-undergraduate experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, strategic finance, revenue operations, or chief-of-staff roles with direct responsibility for an operationally complex domain.

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• Proven track record of cross-functional outcomes with measurable results.

• Preferred background in B2B SaaS, marketplace, logistics, or another operationally intensive business.
