Business Operations Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage the operational infrastructure and systems of the company.

• Provide leadership with weekly insights into workload distribution, team capacity, and delivery risks.

• Evaluate capacity and offer staffing solutions for new bank implementation projects.

• Highlight stalled initiatives, overburdened teams, and unresolved client issues.

• Supervise two technical account managers through regular one-on-ones, goal tracking, feedback, and professional growth.

• Organize staffing, project reassignments, out-of-office coverage, and the routing of customer inquiries.

• Ensure that every client issue is assigned an owner, has a plan, and includes a follow-up date.

• Oversee operational rhythms, including agenda setting for lead syncs, cycle kickoffs, commitment tracking, and follow-ups.

• Work in collaboration with People Operations on software contracts, offsite events, and team gatherings.

• Produce operational documentation, staffing strategies, and status reporting rhythms.

• Identify implementation risks while project leads maintain accountability for client-project recovery.

• Influence organizational and product strategies through operational insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in delivery leadership and business operations.

• A leadership position in a B2B software firm or a smaller division within a larger technology company.

• Proven experience in managing complex enterprise implementations or overseeing technical accounts.

• Recent experience in client-facing roles that fosters team trust.

• Excellent writing and communication abilities.

• Exceptional organizational skills without unnecessary bureaucratic processes.

• Ability to communicate capacity limitations with clarity and confidence.

• Nice to have: experience in the fintech sector or knowledge of selling to banks.

• Nice to have: familiarity with tools such as Linear, Notion, Pylon, and Mixpanel.

• Nice to have: experience in supporting technical teams, including engineering, design, or implementations.
