This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of high-priority, cross-functional initiatives from inception to completion, including scoping, analysis, execution, and evaluation.

• Collaborate closely with leaders across Check to identify and prioritize essential strategic business inquiries.

• Pinpoint operational bottlenecks and design process enhancements that promote efficiency and profitability.

• Create and sustain operating metrics and reporting schedules.

• Convert data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

• Utilize AI tools and agents for analysis, reporting, and workflow design.

• Partner with the Finance team to enhance impact and value.

• Develop financial and analytical frameworks for significant decisions.

• Engage with stakeholders throughout the implementation of recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of total professional experience.

• A minimum of 2 years in investment banking or consulting.

• At least 2 years in a high-growth startup environment.

• Preferred experience in Business Operations, Strategy & Ops, or Strategic Finance.

• Exceptional financial modeling, analytical, and presentation capabilities.

• Ability to simplify complex, ambiguous issues into structured frameworks and clear recommendations.

• Comfortable working with a high level of autonomy and adapting to changing priorities.

• Capability to build relationships and foster alignment across functions and seniority levels.

• Familiarity with AI tools and agents to streamline workflows.

• Experience in fintech, payments, or embedded/vertical SaaS is a plus.

• Proficiency in SQL or equivalent analytical skills is an advantage.
