Business Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Define, design, and establish standard operating procedures for business operations.

• Oversee and confirm the precise delivery of daily market-risk and counterparty-credit-risk reports, which include MTM, Greeks, PFE, CVA, FVA, and VaR.

• Monitor the success or failure of batch processes and market data feeds, conducting intra-day health checks of OneView applications and associated systems.

• Provide operational assistance to meet client requirements.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Numerix applications and data feeds, escalating as necessary.

• Serve as Incident Manager in accordance with incident management policies.

• Organize pre-production releases, including dress rehearsals and parallel runs.

• Lead client coordination for production releases and patch deployments.

• Create internal and external service reports, including root-cause analyses, incidents, and case statistics.

• Support financial institution clients with Numerix’s API platform for financial risk management and analytics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent professional experience.

• 1–2 years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in Python scripting.

• Experience with Linux is an advantage.

• Thorough understanding of market risk and counterparty credit risk principles.

• Familiarity with cloud services, preferably AWS, including Step Functions, EC2, and DynamoDB.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Proficient English communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments.

• Willingness to work early morning IST shifts.

• Keen attention to detail and a sense of ownership.

• Understanding of various asset classes: IR, Commodities, Credit, Equities, and FX.

• Basic knowledge of exchange-traded and OTC-traded derivative instruments, such as forwards and options.

• Capability to analyze and resolve issues related to RESTful API connectivity and data exchange.
