This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the Preservation of the Force and Family (POTFF) program.

• Deliver operational, financial, administrative, and stakeholder-management support for comprehensive human performance services.

• Oversee daily operational elements of projects and scopes.

• Facilitate and prepare planning activities and associated artifacts.

• Supervise extensive multi-project programs, encompassing planning, staffing, leadership, and control.

• Develop and implement project work plans and adjust them as necessary.

• Identify necessary resources and assign roles and responsibilities.

• Create and maintain master and individual resource plans along with project documentation.

• Establish project baselines and capture actual metrics for historical data and Level of Effort forecasting.

• Review team outputs prior to submission to management and clients.

• Implement PMI methodology and uphold project standards.

• Prepare engagement reviews along with quality assurance measures.

• Reduce project risk exposure effectively.

• Communicate project status and information to management, stakeholders, and clients.

• Address or escalate project challenges as necessary.

• Ensure complete, current, and properly archived project documentation.

• Track and utilize lessons learned.

• Properly close out projects upon completion.

• Supervise staff while providing guidance, input, and performance evaluations.

• Prioritize workloads and address issues as the escalation point.

• Collaborate with vendors, including monitoring performance and SLAs.

• Support changes in systems and business processes.

• Assist in drafting vendor contracts, addendums, SOWs, RFPs/RFIs, change requests, and requirements.

• Lead teams focused on continuous improvement initiatives.

• Oversee POTFF program or business operations at assigned sites.

• Work alongside Finance on budgets, forecasts, expenditures, staffing, training investments, and facility requirements.

• Coordinate activities across physical, psychological, cognitive, social, family, and spiritual performance domains.

• Supervise administrative and clerical staff, establish schedules, facilitate onboarding, and coordinate training sessions.

• Monitor compliance with contracts, regulations, safety, security, and company policies.

• Coordinate vendor activities and procurement processes.

• Foster relationships with government clients, program leaders, functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

• Develop operational metrics, reports, and performance indicators.

• Identify operational risks, suggest corrective measures, and encourage continuous improvement.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 7-10 years of pertinent professional experience required.

• At least five years of experience in program management, contract administration, business operations, or a similar role within a defense, government, or complex regulated setting.

• Proficient in budgeting, financial oversight, resource planning, procurement, and cost management.

• Experience in supervising staff and coordinating efforts across cross-functional teams.

• Working knowledge of federal contracting and relevant compliance regulations.

• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and business reporting tools.

• Ability to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance or the eligibility to obtain and maintain one.

• An advanced degree in business administration, public administration, public health, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience supporting Special Operations Forces, military readiness, human performance, behavioral health, or physical readiness programs is preferred.

• Familiarity with USSOCOM and POTFF mission priorities is preferred.

• Experience applying FAR or DFARS is preferred.

• Experience in developing performance metrics and executive-level operational reports is preferred.

• Project Management Professional or other relevant certification is preferred.

• Active Department of Defense Secret or higher-level clearance is preferred.
