Behavioral Health Care Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide support for the mental well-being of cancer patients within an assigned caseload.

• Deliver brief behavioral interventions customized for the oncology environment.

• Conduct screenings and assessments for prevalent mental health and substance use disorders.

• Encourage patient engagement and facilitate follow-up care.

• Educate patients about common mental health and substance use disorders along with available treatment options.

• Systematically monitor treatment responses and observe patients for any changes in clinical symptoms and treatment-related side effects or complications.

• Assist in managing psychotropic medications as prescribed by medical professionals, focusing on adherence to treatment, side effects, and overall effectiveness.

• Develop a trustworthy and effective working relationship with the associated oncology practice team.

• Collaborate with partner oncology groups to assist patients, clinicians, and practice staff in identifying and onboarding patients who require behavioral health support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in a behavioral health, healthcare, or oncology setting is preferred.

• Possession of one of the following clinical licenses: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Committed to delivering evidence-based care with a proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a team environment.

• Enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting where priorities shift, processes are continuously enhanced, and adaptability is crucial.

• Previous experience interacting with physicians and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

• Passionate about providing high-quality behavioral health care.

• Capable of operating with a significant degree of autonomy.

• Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5 PM Hawaii Time.
