Business Manager – Animal Nutrition Specialty

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead the development and growth of the specialty portfolio for both monogastric and ruminant markets.

• Generate demand by actively engaging with customers, partners, and key industry stakeholders.

• Advocate for products and solutions through technical and commercial presentations, customer meetings, and participation in industry events.

• Utilize CRM tools (MS Dynamics).

• Initiate and spearhead business opportunities to drive sales in collaboration with the technical team.

• Coordinate and oversee product trials alongside the Technical Manager to showcase product effectiveness and value.

• Formulate and implement business plans aimed at meeting sales and profitability targets.

• Manage and uphold the annual rolling forecast.

• Keep an eye on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.

• Cultivate relationships with customers and industry influencers.

• Work in partnership with technical, marketing, supply chain, and sales teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in animal science, Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience in animal nutrition, animal health, and feed additives, ideally within the poultry sector.

• Experience with ruminants is a plus.

• Strong skills in sales, negotiation, and business development, with a proven history of achieving commercial goals.

• Comprehensive understanding of the monogastric and/or ruminant production sectors and market dynamics.

• Experience in managing forecasts, business plans, and commercial performance metrics.

• Capability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional and international setting.

• Strong commercial acumen.

• Excellent skills in communication, presentation, and relationship management.

• Results-driven, proactive, and customer-focused.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.

• Proficiency in English is essential.

• Knowledge of Dutch, German, and/or French is highly desirable.
