Business Intelligence Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain dashboards and reports utilizing business intelligence tools such as Power BI.

• Create and manage datasets, data models, and semantic layers to ensure uniform reporting.

• Write, enhance, and maintain SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.

• Construct and uphold ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect requirements and convert them into reporting and analytics solutions.

• Guarantee data accuracy, quality, and consistency across reporting systems.

• Create and maintain documentation for data models, reports, and processes.

• Monitor and resolve issues in data pipelines and reporting solutions.

• Implement and uphold data governance and best practices.

• Work with cloud-based data platforms, like Azure, to support analytics initiatives.

• Assist in the integration of data from internal and external systems.

• Identify opportunities to enhance data processes and reporting efficiency.

• Provide support for operational BI and analytics systems.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5+ years of experience in BI, analytics, or data-centric roles.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative discipline or equivalent experience.

• Extensive experience with Power BI and DAX or comparable BI tools and languages.

• Proficient SQL skills for data querying and transformation.

• Experience in data modeling, including dimensional modeling and semantic layers.

• Experience in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platforms.

• Strong grasp of data quality, validation, and governance practices.

• Experience with structured deployment processes, such as CI/CD and Azure DevOps.

• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
