This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement tools and techniques for data collection, ensuring the integrity, frequency, and reliability of the data.
• Build data pipelines that leverage data sources using Python, SQL, and/or Azure Data Factory.
• Analyze data patterns with advanced algorithms to uncover actionable insights.
• Create graphs, charts, and visualizations to effectively communicate complex technical results.
• Present analytical findings to managers and stakeholders to inform adjustments to business models and future strategies.
• Gather, clean, and validate extensive datasets from various VA sources.
• Convert raw data into insightful reports that support the goals of healthcare transformation.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data strategies align with program objectives.
• Assist in predictive modeling and trend analysis to enhance the delivery of healthcare for veterans.
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Data Science, Statistics, Health Informatics, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in data analysis, ideally within a healthcare or federal setting.
• Expertise in statistical software and programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS.
• Extensive experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
• Proven ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights to non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of VHA systems and data repositories, including CDW and VistA.
